It’s hard to believe that 2011 is about to be gone with the wind. Seems like I was writing my “3 Cheapies I loved in 2010” post just a short time ago. Oh well, time always flies faster than we want it to. Anyway, I decided to make those “cheapies” posts a year-end tradition on my blog, because those products are definitely worth mentioning and trying. And the most important part is that they all cost either less or a little over $10.
Aveeno Positively Nourishing Smoothing Body Wash With Pomegranate + Rice ($5-$7) This scrub is impossible not to like. The little beads do a good job sloughing dead skin cells without drying you out. It’s very moisturizing and gentle, and the light pomegranate smell is very pleasant.
Nexxus Dualiste Color Protection Intense Hydration + Volume Shampoo ($11.99) It has a dual pump that delivers 2 products at once: color protecting and volumizing shampoos. Nexxus also managed to make the formula moisturizing without weighing fine hair down. My hair is fine, but I have lots of it, so when a product fails to deliver volume, it all hangs like a dead weight along my head. Not a pretty picture, believe me. With Nexxus Dualiste I get lots of volume, a color shield, and a nice fresh smell as a bonus.
Salon Grafix Shaping Hair Spray Unscented Super Hold ($6.29) This hair spray happens to always be on sale at my local grocery store for less than $5. So I usually get two or three. Those who use hair spray often know how hard it is to find a decent quality one for a drug store price. The problem is that they smell either like an industrial glue or a cheap body mist while giving you a helmet-head at the same time. And I hate when a hair spray messes up with my perfume. Salon Grafix was a gem find for me because it’s unscented, cheap, long-lasting, and never sticky. I use just a few spritzes in the morning, which wear off somewhat during the day leaving my hair movable, but keeping its shape at the same time. It’s a perfect bang for 5-6 bucks.

Aveeno makes some great products. Haven’t tried the other two though.
Maybe I should give them all a try and lets see if its really worth to buy for.
I think they are all worth a try. The price and quality are a win-win.
