Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor ($5.54)
Last time I tried Maybelline lipstick I was probably in high school, which was very long ago. I stumbled upon it at the drug store just recently, and was surprised by the variety of colors on the display. After spending what seemed to be a year of my life choosing the right shade, I grabbed a couple of tubes to try and was impressed right away by the quality of this lipstick.
New Color Sensational Lipcolor – 48 rich, creamy, highly pigmented shades. The colors are crisp and look the same on the lips as they do in the tube. The texture is nice and creamy, infused with nourishing honey nectar. You get a pretty decent product for a low price, that gives you a good opportunity to experiment with different colors and shades.
The lipstick stays put for fairly long, unless you decide to eat something, in which case you’ll need a reapplication. But in it’s defense, this lip color isn’t marketed as a long-lasting formula anyway. I would say that with this product you get a perfect chance to have some fun trying out as many vibrant colors as you please and feel good about it, because it won’t break your bank.
