Lancome Photogenic Lumessence Compact
I bought this compact foundation a week ago and can’t get enough of it since then. It definitely stands out on my list. First of all, the texture is light and creamy, suits well normal to dry skin types like mine. It’s oil-free, so it won’t make you look shiny and has SPF 18 as a bonus.
I often had one problem with foundations before: many accentuated dry areas on my face, making them look dull at times. But this product, enriched with Aqua-catch complex to lock moisture in the skin, literally gives me glow. I use my usual moisturizer first, of course, and then this baby glides smoothly and seamlessly on top of it. The texture is very easy to blend with either a sponge that comes with the compact or fingers, whichever way you prefer. I like that it doesn’t cake or settle in lines, there’s no need to check it’s status in the mirror every now and then. Skin feels hydrated, but not greasy or heavily covered, and looks fresh all day long. You get natural finish and a dewy sheen that’s so hard to achieve in winter. Price tag: $42.
