This is the latest manicure trend, a one-of-a-kind 3-D DIY nail art project. Courtesy of UK’s Ciate company, the kit contains nail polish, pearlescent beads, a funnel and a tray. It comes in 3 colors: Rainbow (multicolored), shown on photo above, Mother of Pearl (white), and Black Pearls (black). Extra bonus – it doesn’t contain parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes and fragrances, petrochemicals, phthalates, triclosan, GMOs (genetically modified organisms).
The instructions are very simple. What you do is cover your nails with polish first, then sprinkle the beads on top while the nails are still wet. I find it easier to do one nail at a time. The little tray gathers all the excess loose beads that can be saved for future manis. The tiny caviar beads manicure looks original and unique, doesn’t chip, and lasts for a few days. The payoff – lots of stares and plenty of compliments. It turned out to be more fun than I’ve anticipated.
