I haven’t met anybody yet who doesn’t like a good bargain. I personally can spend half a day strolling through drug store isles or cosmetics shelves at Ulta, testing everything they have there. There are plenty of high quality skincare products that don’t require spending a lot of money on them. And that’s exactly why we love them so much.
These 5 inexpensive items are on my favorites list as of today:
- H2O Plus Hand & Nail Cream ($17) It contains aloe, natural oils and vitamins B and E for long-lasting moisture and softness. Being lightweight, fast-absorbing, non-greasy, moisturizing and soothing – it’s a perfect hand lotion for summer. I use it twice a day, and it takes care of dryness right away. I also love the fact that it has a pump.
- Alpha Hydrox Foot & Problem Area Cream 12% Glycolic AHA ($8.99) This thick healing cream works very fast on my heels, takes care of dryness and makes feet soft and smooth. The texture is on the greasy side, so it’s more efficient to use it at bedtime and put cotton socks on right after application. It can also be used on any other dry patches of the body if you need to get rid of them fast.
- Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner ($7.49) This gentle, alcohol-free formula suites all skin types. Used right after taking my makeup off, it adds clean, pleasant and refreshing feeling to my beauty routine. The light smell is great, the clean feeling is there, there’s no tightness after using it, the price is budget-friendly, need I say more?
- Nivea A Kiss of Moisture Essential Lip Care ($2.99) I have no idea how I’ve survived before this product hit the market a few years ago. I developed an addiction to this lip balm and have it in every corner of my house. It does everything the perfect lip balm should do: moisturizes and hydrates lips without being greasy, and creates a perfect base for lipstick or gloss.
- H2O Plus Moisture Boosting Body Balm in Natural Spring ($11.50) Packed with vitamins E, B5, aloe, seaweed and botanical extracts, this light body lotion is perfect for summer months. I usually apply it right after the shower and it sinks into my skin in seconds, leaving it hydrated and nicely fragrant. It comes in 4 more scent varieties – Pina Passion, Kiwi-Cassis, Raspberry Guava and Blushing Orange, but I happen to like Natural Spring one the most.
