Clinique Acne Clearing Concealer ($15.50)
First things first: this is not an acne medication, it conceals the breakout and helps it heal and dry out faster. I like it simply because it works the way the box says it would, meaning that it covers the blemish and speeds up its disappearance.
Acne Clearing Concealer is oil-free, fragrance-free, contains 1% salicylic acid, and works for all skin types. The only disappointment maybe that it comes in 4 shades (Corrective Green, 01, 02 and 03), which may make it somewhat challenging to get the exact one you need. The solution to that is mixing it up with either a foundation or another concealer for the perfect coverage. I happened to be in luck, as the 01 shade works for my skin color just right.
The concealer is thick enough to provide full coverage and blend easily at the same time. It stays put forever, I never had a need to retouch during the day. And it usually takes a tiny amount to cover a blemish completely. So the little tube that it comes in should last for a long while. And the price is not bad either.
