Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid Sunblock ($12.99)
This sunblock is my latest drugstore discovery, and I’m madly in love with it. I tried a great number of sunblocks, high-end and low-end, spent a huge amount of money on them, because I use sunscreen 365 days a year, rain or shine. This product is by far the best, considering the price/quality ratio. My favorite part is that it comes in a small 1.4 oz bottle that is compact enough to carry in any purse and perfect for airport security clearance.
It’s a lightweight white fluid that spreads and blends in seconds and absorbs instantly without leaving any kind of residue on the skin. I layer it on top of my skincare products and under the makeup. The liquid is invisible, so it’s impossible to use too much. Don’t be intimidated by the milky white color, it disappears on your face in an instant. It’s also non-greasy and oil-free, water-proof, sweat-proof and non-comedogenic, which means that it doesn’t clog pores.
This sunblock “features Helioplex, a breadth of stabilized sunscreen technologies that delivers superior” sun protection. It comes in SPF 55 and SPF 70, which is practically all the protection you need during the sunny summer season. Plus, if you buy it now at Ulta, you get 15% discount from the original price of $12.99, as their sale price is $11.04 at the moment. Not a a huge difference, but feels good paying a little less anyway.
