Chanel Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour ($30)
The latest from Chanel – hydrating creme lip color – is a lightweight, soothing and conditioning lipstick. There is a wide range of colors and shades to choose from, as well as 3 full-coverage finishes: matte, pearl and soft shimmer. The lipstick was manufactured with Hydratendre complex that helps condition and soften dry lips.
I was pleasantly surprised at how long-lasting and at the same time moisturizing this product is. All the colors are rich and vibrant, but not over the top bright, very thought-through. The texture is smooth, soft and light, and it glides on easily either with a lip brush or straight from the tube. I spent what seemed to be an eternity at the Chanel counter choosing the color, as they all are very pretty and equally flattering. The price tag is a little high for a lipstick, so I had to restrict myself to buying just one tube. I got it in matte finish, which I love for day time, plus I can always swipe a clear gloss on top if I’m in the mood for shine. To sum it all up - it’s a great product.
