La Mer The Regenerating Serum ($250)
I have been using La Mer The Lifting Face Serum for years and was always happy with the results. Because of that I wasn’t in the mood for switching to their new Regenerating serum at first, but after giving it some thought, I decided to try it out. I have to admit that I didn’t regret that for a minute and as a result, this review is an ode of love to my new favorite serum.
What’s inside: anti-aging ingredients like high concentrate of The Miracle Broth, The Marine Peptide Ferment, The Regenerating Ferment, infused with marine plant stem cells and colloidal gold. These are known for helping skin to produce collagen and elastin that play a major role in both preventing and reducing the appearance of fine lines.
The serum’s texture is very light and silky, and it absorbs into skin in seconds. If you follow recommendations and apply the serum over face and neck twice a day, it delivers very good results fast. My skin feels softer now, has a bit of a glow to it and looks smoother and firmer in the morning, even if I sleep with the side of my face pressed into the pillow – now that’s a big relief.
The company claims that over time, with the daily use of this serum, my skin will appear ‘seemingly ageless’. I’m yet to see about that, but so far I can tell that my skin tone improved dramatically, and the skin itself feels plumper to the touch. I’m a happy customer again.
