Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion review

Skin MD LotionI found out about this product  last week, and was anxious to try it. According to the  manufacturer, the lotion forms a protective shield by bonding with the outer layer of the skin to keep irritants and pollutants out, and to work together with the skin to enhance it’s natural protective abilities. It’s 93% natural, doesn’t cause allergies or breakouts; and the list of ingredients includes aloe, glucose, vitamin E and chamomile to name a few.

The lotion can be used on any area of the body, including the face, so I started with my problematic dry hands first. What I like about this lotion is that it absorbs in seconds like a serum, and doesn’t leave any sticky feel on your hands or grease marks on the door knobs or a steering wheel. But it didn’t cure my hands from dryness, even after I  reapplied it several times during the day. It showed pretty good results on my neck and feet, but didn’t work as well on my face, as it needs more moisture this time of the year. Because I have a combination skin, where some areas are normal and some dry, I usually feel more comfortable with the richer cream formula in winter. For my skin type the lotion could be more suitable for the summer time, when there is more moisture in the air. It may work better all-year-round for those with oily skin, because of it’s light, non-greasy and fast-absorbing texture.

Overall, the lotion leaves a good impression and, if you would like to try it yourself, you can find it here: Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion
