We got used to the idea of matching nail polish to a lipstick in the past, but coordinating it with eye makeup is new. Dark or light brown, blue, green, purple, gray, black, gold and silver are the colors that many of us can easily pull off. You can create darker versions for night out and lighter ones for daytime look.
The look is simple but sophisticated. As eyes and nails take center stage, it’s better to keep the rest of the face toned down: a swipe of blush and/or bronzer, and a touch of nude lipstick are quite enough. You can do gloss if your eye makeup and nails are matte, and matte lipstick is a better choice when they are shiny or metallic.
