Lancome Renergie R.A.R.E. Eye Lifter Serum ($70)
I found out about this serum through Glamour magazine and decided to give it a try. Being of the lightweight consistency, it absorbs in seconds and feels nice and smooth afterward. What I like the most is that it softens the lines around the vulnerable eye area, makes me look more awake, which is very important when I am tired or didn’t sleep well. Another plus is that I saw the difference with the first application, and not after a month or two of consistent use, like with so many other products. And, if it doesn’t give your winter skin enough moisture (my friend’s case), it works perfectly with the more concentrated eye cream.
Lancôme CRÈME Radiance Clarifying Cream-to-Foam Cleanser ($24.50)
Let me just say that I’m in love with Lancome cleansers and exfoliators. I tried almost everything from their line, but this packed with antioxidants cleanser is one of my favorites. It goes on creamy and turns easily into foam. While being very gentle, it removes makeup completely, and you only need a dollop for it to do the job. There’s this pleasant fresh and clean feeling you get after using it, and the skin feels deeply hydrated. Also, the tube lasts for a long while, which makes your 24 bucks stretch a long way.
La Mer The Refining Facial ($75)
This 75 dollar goodness is a real splurge. But it feels sooo good every time I use it. It contains acidic sea muds, diamond powder and polished sea quartz to soften skin, lift the dirt from the surface and gently exfoliate. You massage only a small amount into face, then give it a good rinse. And I love the results I get – my face looks brighter, feels polished and gets rid of dullness in an instant. I don’t have any regrets spending 75 bucks, to me it’s definitely worth every penny.
